Thanks for posting this and congratulations. A nice tribute, indeed. The ambiguity in the syntax here makes it clear that both types do the "mending." Yes! I like the cello stanza, too.

Thank you both. Poor David Fox -- joined Quakers in 1825. They considered music so evil that David didn't feel he could ethically play his cello, sell it, or give it away, so he buried it.
